Help Your Students See How English Works As A Connected System.

Turn what you know about structured literacy into a cohesive, repeatable teaching structure that drives long-term memory and real skill transfer.

I help educators working with older, struggling readers bring phonology, orthography, morphology, syntax, and meaning together in one integrated approach. Teach word study with total clarity and confidence—without spending hours researching, planning, and second-guessing every lesson.

Knowing structured literacy is one thing. Integrating it into a crowded day is another.

You can understand the science, complete the training, read the research, and have a shelf full of resources—and still find yourself wondering: What do I teach next? How do I tie phonics, morphology, and vocabulary together without turning every single lesson into an exhausting research project?

With older students, the stakes are high. You need to keep them engaged without making the work feel childish, and you need to build multiple literacy strands into a single lesson.

When skills are taught in isolation, students struggle to see the big picture. But when you show them how the entire English language connects, you unlock their long-term memory. They stop guessing and start transferring those skills directly into their daily reading and writing.

You don't need another pile of disjointed information or isolated worksheets. You need a repeatable framework that makes your knowledge actionable, responsive, and deeply impactful for the student sitting right in front of you.

Hi, I’m Sarah.

I am an educator, literacy specialist, and author with over 18 years of experience helping older students break out of cycles of reading failure and frustration. My career has moved between specialist dyslexia environments and mainstream secondary schools, serving as a Literacy Coordinator and Head of Inclusive Education.

As an OCR Level 5 and 7 certified SpLD lecturer and mentor, I have trained speech pathologists and teachers to look past simple phonics-only shortcuts and embrace the deeper structural logic of English.

I know the exhausting mental load of standing in front of a class trying to connect vocabulary, syntax, and spelling on the fly. That is why I don't create more clutter for your desk; I create cohesive frameworks that respect your time and give your students the structural clarity they need to succeed.
